Peter Hinckley is a composer and sound designer for film, video games, and other media. He excels at creating sound palettes and writing compelling music to highlight the moods and emotional arcs of all sorts of media. Peter loves blending score and sound design, writing music that stems from core sounds and creating a distinct sonic world.

Peter has collaborated to work on various films and games across many genres. Currently studying screen scoring at NYU, he looks forward to using his music composition skills to work with filmmakers, directors, developers, and creators of all types of media.

Peter is also an instrumentalist with a background in piano and trumpet performance, both jazz and classical. He is also well versed in various music software such as Logic Pro X, Wwise, Sibelius, ProTools, Cubase, and Dorico. He is also adept in orchestration, mixing, sound design, sample programming, and recording.
